  • Tailored Rotor System

    Rotor is an important component of a helicopter. It moves horizontally and rotates, so complicated aerodynamic problems are produced. The rotor blades generally use the thin airfoil with a high aspect ratio. Limited structural layout space brings difficulties for dynamic design.Since the establishment of Beijing ZhongHangZhi Technology Co., Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as ZHZ), a great deal of manpower and material resources has been invested in rotor design and so far, a helicopter rotor system R&D talent team covering aerodynamics, payload, strength, dynamics, and structural design and technological processes has been built. It is capable of design of the fourth-generation rotor and has researched and development multiple rotor systems.

    High reliability: test capabilities from parts and components to systems; reliable and endurable products

    Lower vibration and noise levels and higher drive efficiency are possessed by means of gear quality control and CAE simulation analysis.

    Environmental adaptability: The product is adaptable to different operation environments of low temperature, high temperature, high humidity, mildew, and fog salt.

    Because of application of several light metals such as titanium alloy, aluminium alloy, and magnesium aluminium, the weight is lighter with other indexes the same.

  • Tailored Flight Control and Avionics Systems

    With consideration of reliability, safety, and low-cost design and factors such as environmental sounds, detailed design was performed based on the existing military and civil flight control and avionics systems, different levels of UAV flight control and avionics systems have been customized, including the following characteristics.

    Modular platform: Modular system software and hardware is used. The flight control and avionics system supports function and interface expansibility and aircraft platform compatibility.

    High-reliability system architecture: Multiple Redundant Systems and Components; "LOCKSTEP" MCU architecture

    System development efficiency can be increased and productization time can be shortened based on graphic guidance law and control law development modes in model design.

    The products are electromagnetically compatible, comply with IP67 environmental protection, and meet the requirements for specific service environments.

    The whole system supports an MTBF of over 1000 hours.

  • Tailored Flight Dynamics Modeling

    A precise flight dynamics model plays an important role in unmanned helicopter flight control, flight quality analysis, and simulation verification. Since the establishment, ZHZ has always been dedicated in iterating and optimizing the modeling method so as to improve the unmanned helicopter modeling accuracy. Currently, it has already possessed two modeling methods of "First-Principle" and "System Identification".

    Among the two methods, models based on "First-Principle" can help engineers understanding the helicopter theories and flight better while models based on "System Identification" are comprehensive and accurate, meeting the high-bandwidth control requirements.

    By means of thorough understanding and practice of the two modeling theories, the company has been leading the flight dynamics modeling technology in the helicopter industry.

    The company is able to supply services of engineering consultation, project seminar, and project management to satisfy specific requirements of customers in different phases.


    In order to deal with those engineering project conditions flexibly, we provide various project consultation services in order to supply a complete rotor system solution for customers, including screening of rotor configurations, optimized selection of airfoil configurations, evaluation of rotor performance, payload, strength, and dynamics, compilation of structure design and technological process documents, manufacture of composite components (hubs and blades), and ground tests and flight tests (performance tests and blade load test).
